I had hoped when you moved things would improve. But NO its still a joke
It takes hours to get through on the phone...and then you can't get an appointment. If you get in your car and go to the surgery...you still can't get an appointment.
I have had a raised pink mark on my lip for 5 weeks now and am concerned its a basal cell carcinoma. Yet still I was not offered an appointment. Told to call at 8am...which I itself is an impossible task. It takes hours to get through and as doctors aren't the only ones who have to work, this isn't possible. Something serious is going to happen one day because of the total ineffective way this practise is run.
My cousin died from skin cancer, so let's hope my not getting a doctors appointment doesn't lead to the same.
In August of this year I had a blood test for diabetes. The Clinician I saw said
she wanted to be sure because I had numbness in my feet and ankles.
The results came back as normal. That was nearly 3 months ago, I have not been
informed of any further action, I am still suffering with this numbness and pain in my
feet and legs, why has there been no follow up?
I have rang the surgery and the receptionist was helpful and said she would get a
Clinician to ring me to discuss my condition, The Clinician rang and she said what
do you want us to do about it? What a thing to say, Then she told me to tell my wife
to stop talking in the background, she was only trying to remind me of something
else I wanted to say, there was no need for rudeness. She said she would get a doctor to ring me, that was on the 27th September is now the 30th, I still have not received a call from him she has either not told the Doctor or he isn't interested
This surgery used to be excellent 44 years ago but things have declined in the last few years, ever since it took up partnership with Modality.so things can't be blamed
on Covid.
My wife has also been neglected she has been suffering from headaches for 2 years
and there has still been no solution.
I take no pleasure in writing this experience but it is out of sheer frustration I do so
I don't know where to go from here.
Over 3 and half’s hours trying to get an appointment with a nurse to redress my wound from surgery. Still on hold. They’re call back system does not work on iPhone. Then they text you to really put the boot in. To tell you … that you didn’t reconnect to the queue. How crazy. 10 attempts. Nothing. Can we fine them for such a stupid system. Or can we claim compensation. They say they’re busy. But with who. If none of us can get through.
I would just like to know where are the doctors and nursing staff that used to be at this surgery. Attended the surgery (after more or less demanding to see someone) with my husband on a Friday teatime. This used to be one of the most busiest times at this surgery but on this occasion it was completely empty except for reception staff who seemed to be doing nothing but talk amongst themselves.
Daughter with suspected severe pnumoaenia told to get a taxi to HRI and if felt more ill to stop the taxi and get an ambulance. Why didn't the surgery send for an ambulance straightaway. Shocking care.
